MIT graduate who designed executive jet engines and tested Apollo Saturn rocket components in the 1960’s. In the 70’s – 80’s Ted founded the first biotech company in Arizona (Burn Treatment Skin Bank) and the first major
PC Software company Sendero. Sendero has grown to 300 employees.
Both startups returned 100 to 1 on founder investments. He has acquired
over $10 million of investment for his companies. For the 90’s and 00’s he has been a lead Arizona civic entrepreneur – founding gifted education, telecommunications, economic development and eLearning civic organizations. Ted’s legislative efforts have pried over a half $billion from
the taxpayers for K-12 gifted and eLearning education. He was handed
the William F McWhorter Community Service Leader of the Year Award
from Arizona’s Governor in 2005.
