Adam Kraver – President, Chief Technologist
Adam began his first job developing graphics software in 1985 and has since become a leading expert in graphics, 3D-modeling, game development systems, motion capture, and game design. During ten years at Rainbow Studios (a THQ studio), he engineered game development and testing systems and managed a number of extraordinarily innovative projects. He advanced to Lead Engineer, then Lead Designer and finally Studio Director of Design. His games have been nominated six times for visual and technology engineering and best game of the year by AIAS.
Motocross Madness 2, was winner “Best Sports Computer Game” AIAS 2000. All of Adam’s 13 games on 4 platforms were financially profitable. Several were “blockbusters” and his vision is locked onto developing the next blockbuster game of the decade. For that he needs a major advancement in motion capture of expression and emotions. Hence the creation of his own studio CaptiveMotion.
Mark M. Carson – VP Business Development
After completing his B.A. at Arizona State University, Mark carved a twelve year path of success in the information technology industry within top companies such as Microage and Qwest. He managed national and government accounts, drove organizational policy development, implemented major projects, managed new product roll-outs, and produced award winning sales. In 2000, he was the national leader in revenue and data sales for Qwest. Mark diverted twice into startups where he created, managed, and ran all aspects of the business. Mark provides an expert interface between the customer and CaptiveMotion technology products.
James Comstock – VP Engineering & Production
James completed a B.S. with Honors at the University of Arizona before joining Intel. He was a key contributor on a variety of start-up projects within the New Business Group targeting international markets, holding roles as a Software Engineer and a Software Architect. In 2001, he joined Rainbow Studios (a THQ studio) and provided vital leadership in all areas of development, from art and design to engineering and production, while holding roles as Technical Director, Lead Engineer, Producer, and Project Manager. He was the visionary force behind a revolutionary in-house toolset for Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii games, which transformed the way development occurred within the studio. James brings an ability to harness and mold cutting-edge technology into effective production tools.
Ted Kraver Ph.D. – VP Entrepreneur Emeritus
MIT graduate who designed executive jet engines and tested Apollo Saturn rocket components in the 1960′s. In the 70′s – 80′s Ted founded the first biotech company in Arizona (Burn Treatment Skin Bank) and the first major PC Software company Sendero. Sendero has grown to 300 employees. Both startups returned 100 to 1 on founder investments. He has acquired over $10 million of investment for his companies. For the 90′s and 00′s he has been a lead Arizona civic entrepreneur – founding gifted education, telecommunications, economic development and eLearning civic organizations. Ted’s legislative efforts have pried over a half $billion from the taxpayers for K-12 gifted and eLearning education. He was handed the William F McWhorter Community Service Leader of the Year Award from Arizona’s Governor in 2005.
